Here are the 2020 rates as per the state's website:

  • Sites A, B, C, and D: maximum capacity of 50 people. New Jersey Resident $100 per night; Non Resident $200, per night.
  • Sites E and F: maximum capacity of 25 people. NJ Resident $50 per night; Non Resident $100 per night.

Online: Registrations can also be made through the state's online registration system: njportal.com/DEP/NJOutdoors.

In Person: Camping registration can be done at the main office/visitor center. This office is found about 9 minutes away, just outside the Allaire Village/Pine Creek Railroad entrance. I would Call Ahead first to make sure Allaire is taking in person registration, as well as if they even have spaces open.

Exploring The Park

Trails

There are a few, very fun trails around the Ground Camping area. These are great for biking and hiking for sure. You can also follow a trail from the group area to the main mountain bike and hiking trails in Allaire. You can not bike/hike all the way to the village without crossing the Manasquan River. It is better to just drive.

The Village (~9 minute drive)

The Historic Allaire Village and Pine Creek Railroad are both just a short drive down the road from the campground. here you will be able to take a ride on the trail, or step back in time.

Even More

There are many great things to do throughout Allaire State Park. Our Visit Allaire and Exploring Allaire pages offer detailed information on exploring our favorite park :) You can also just grab a map and go explore!
