Here we go!

We took a fun hike in Allaire State Park today, starting out at the main parking lot off Hospital Rd. This lot is the main parking area for all the trails in the park and is always a good starting point for a bike ride or hike.

From the lot, we followed the main trail (past the trailhead sign) to the first crossing where we made a right onto the old paved road. We followed this up past the RC field and took the left just before the old road opened up into the sandy area.

Looping Back

Turning left off the paved path brings us back into the woods. This trail is very well worn and fun to ride/hike with some elevation change. There is not any trail markings to start, but y9ou will see the Red trail blazes a bit into the trail.

If you follow this path correctly you will head straight back to the main lot.
